Friday
The teeth bit the tongue,
yet the tongue did not speak.
Perhaps it hurt deeply,
but the pain did not leak.
Were the lips too still,
so the tongue did not move ?
Or was it scared of teeth,
with courage not to prove ?
Above are teeth,
Below are teeth,
maybe they won’t let
the tongue shares its speech.
